Boost your Marsden bid in just 4 weeks with our targeted, expert-led challenge. This self-directed, 4-week online course is tailored for researchers at any stage, whether you’re a new Marsden applicant, preparing a resubmission, or applying for either Standard / Fast-Start bids. The course provides resources to help you create a compelling, fundable research proposal, breaking the process into clear, actionable steps. Over four weeks, you’ll complete three targeted tasks per week, covering each critical component of your bid. Together, we’ll break down the EOI, Roles and Resources, CV, Vision Mātauranga, among other aspects, ensuring alignment with the funder's guidelines. You’ll also receive practical tips on collaborating effectively with your research office, engaging with collaborators, and seeking valuable feedback from your network. Week 1: Foundation, Guidelines, Vision Mātauranga and Connecting with Collaborators Week 2: Crafting the Expression of Interest (EOI) Week 3: Roles, Resources, and CV Week 4: Budget, Vision Mātauranga, and Seeking Feedback This online course is fully self-directed, giving you the flexibility to work at your own pace while preparing a strong, fundable research bid. Of course, you must start this programme at least one month before the deadline. The sooner the better!
